Il convertitore multimediale Gigabit industriale PLANET IGUP-2205AT combina la conversione multimediale Ethernet (da 1000BASE-X a 10/100/1000BASE-T) con la funzione iniettore Power over Ethernet Plus Plus (PoE++) 802.3bt per fornire ad entrambe le porte fino a 190 watt di potenza in uscita e un'elevata velocità di trasmissione dei dati ai PD (dispositivi alimentati) installati in un'area remota dove è richiesto un apporto di energia sufficiente e affidabile.
